E-mail should have been checked

I opened my mail box today to find out I have missed my tutor’s meeting again. That may because my mail box seldom has useful mail, but I don’t want to use it as my excuse. This is not the first time it happened, and last time I’m even more regretful because he phoned me directly. I thought I’d learnt and would never let it happen again. And it happened.
