Life in CA

2nd day in sf is about to start. Plan of today is to visit Stamford and attend a concert (and maybe sth else).
The life is CA is really different then that in NYC. It is far less crowded then in the city. And friends live in different towns. Ppl visit each other by car. No place can go without car. Yet with a car, life is convenient. Yes, there is less shops, but even in the city u will only go to shops near u. And the time spender transfering in subway is enough for u to drive to malls in CA.
Yes, u will spend a lot on your car, but the apartments here are cheap and better.
Again, it is just a different life style. And I will be glad to experience it if I have a chance.
